Sunday 8:30 A.M.

Worship on Sundays begins at 8:30 a.m. with a traditional service.  Worshippers are treated to the Chancel Choir, traditional hymns, and a more formal worship setting.  This service offers Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month.

Sunday at 9:40 a.m.

After 1st Worship ends at around 9:30, classes for all ages begin.  Classes are the primary small groups in the church and you can get acquainted, interact with other members of the congregation, and become involved in FUMCVC's ministries quickly in a Sunday class.  Class members support each other, conduct mission projects, and support the congregation in many ways.

Classes run through 10:40 a.m.

"Meet and Greet"

Between Sunday classes and 2nd Worship, everyone is invited to gather for Meet-and-Greet in the Wesley Celebration Center (WCC).  Donuts and drinks are available, plus a lot of visiting, meeting, and greeting.  All are welcomed.

Sunday
11:03 a.m.
Worship continues in a format different from the 8:30 worship.  It is led by a  worship team that includes a five-member band of musicians, well-known in Wichita music circles, and a group of singers from the congregation.  The primary goal of this service is celebration and worship.  Pastor Dennis will present a sermon as in the first service, but the atmosphere at second worship may be a little louder and a bit more relaxed.   The 11:03 service receives Holy Communion also on the first Sunday of the month.

Wednesday PM

Wednesday evening activities, know as Wednesday Nights Together,  begin at 5:30 p.m. with supper in Fellowship Hall (under the sanctuary).  Supper runs from 5:30 to 6:15, and then people move on to other Wednesday activities.

Activities include youth group meetings (from 6:00 to 7:30), administrative meetings, Bible Study groups, and choir practice.  Wednesday evening is a busy time at FUMCVC.
