Sunday Morning Activities
8:30
Sunday Morning activities begin at 8:30 in the Sanctuary with First Worship.
This is a more traditional worship service with choir (except for the summer
months), organ, and piano.
A segment of the service is devoted to children, and the pastor delivers
a sermon. Holy Communion
is served
9:40 The morning continues with School Classes for all ages. Classes are held in classrooms throughout the building.
10:40 brings Meet-n-Greet in the WCC. The WCC is the Wesley Celebration Center at the South end of the building complex. People from Sunday School classes and those preparing to go to second worship gather here for donuts, drink, and interaction. It is a great time to get acquainted, and it lasts until the second service begins.
11:03 brings Second Worship, in a worship format slightly different from First Worship. Second Worship meets also in the sanctuary, but a professional band and a group of singers lead the worship music. This service runs a bit noisier than first service, and the songs we sing may be new, or they may be old songs with a new twist, but the excitement and energy are great. A children's lesson, sermon, prayers, and other elements of worship fill this worship hour, and we are usually finished by 12:00 to 12:10.This service also serves Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month.
' Combined Worship On special Sundays in the year, the congregation holds one worship service at 10:45 a.m., and Sunday School at the regular time of 9:40 a.m. We combine the 1st and 2nd worship styles and have a great time. Don't miss these special days because there will be an all-church meal afterward in the WCC.

occasionally depending on the special needs. This service tends toward
more of a quiet, contemplative atmosphere.
