Child Care

Childcare is provided for most church activities.  For evens other than worship, reservations are required.  You may call the nursery director to request childcare.

Children's Church

Every Sunday, children form three years to first grade are invited to attend Children's Church.  After the children's sermon in the sanctuary worship service, the children are dismissed to the preschool room where they have a story, Bible lesson, game, sing-along, and a craft project.

Chapel Church

Chapel Church is held the third Sunday of each month.  This is for second through fifth graders.  After the children's sermon in the sanctuary worship, children move to the Chapel and sing, hear a story, or watch a video lesson

Vacation Bible School

One week in June we hold a morning Bible School from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  The children generally rotate to different station (story, game, craft, and snack) throughout the morning.  We also collect items and/or money for different mission projects.

Summer Camp

We encourage children and youth to attend summer camps at one of the local United Methodist camps.  Each June, young children, kindergarteners through second graders, are transported to Camp Horizon near Arkansas City, Kansas, for a DayCamp experience.  In July, we encourage children, third through eighth grades, to attend a week-long camp at Camp Horizon.  Several adults from the church attend as sponsors.  The church plans several fund-raising activities to help assist with camp fees.

Children's Christmas Program

In December, preschoolers through fifth graders and the youth, prepare programs that are shared during the Sunday School hour for the church family and again in the evening for extended families and the community.
